Larch Madness

Just prior to the first snows falling (we were there for it), I got out to the North Cascades for the Autumn turning of the larches. It’s fortunate that I am not confined to the weekends like so many who flocked to the trails because even on the weekdays it was crowded.  I drove out late, did the in-car camping overnight, and got up for pre-dawn/sunrise hiking.
