Wedding FAQ

Wedding FAQs
1. Do you include High Resolution images on a CD/DVD?
Yes, Hi-Res images included with our wedding packages, and are delivered on CD or DVD as JPG files to print up to 8x10 for personal, non-commercial use. All copyrights are reserved and resale is never allowed.

2. Do you include RAW files?
No, never. RAW's are just that: raw, unprocessed information from the camera (like handing you undeveloped film). These files require specialized software to open and edit, and are only a starting point for creating the finished version of our vision for these images. We only deliver finished works of art to you.

3. When will I receive my disk?
The disk of High Resolution images will be delivered along with your album or at your first anniversary.

4. How far will you travel?
I love to travel and will happily go to the ends of the earth. Travel fees apply and availability permitting. Please call well in advance for destination weddings (or anything outside of the Puget Sound/Seattle area).

5. How many images will I get?
On average, you receive about 50 finished images for every hour of wedding coverage, and 30-40 from your 2 hour Engagement, Boudoir, or Trash the Dress session. The images are edited down to the best shots and further processed to be their best. That means no images of you blinking, etc.

6. How long will it take to get my images?
When everything is put away, the guests go home, and you begin to reminisce about each and every moment of your wedding day, you will think "I cannot wait to see to the pictures!" and that you'll be anxious to do so. We also know you want each and every one of them to be as perfect as your memories. Your wedding images will be lovingly edited and ready for viewing 4-6 weeks after your wedding day when you will be invited back in to the studio to view your wedding images. They will also be available online for your family and guests to view.

7. Do you offer albums?
Yes, we have a stunning selection of matted and flush-mount albums in a unique variety of styles, colours, textures, and materials. We'll be happy to show you during your consultation appointment. They are best appreciated when you are able to feel the weight and quality in your hands. Several of our packages include one of our albums.

8. Who designs my album?
Nicole Raine Photography designs your album in the studio and it is sent to our binder to be lovingly handcrafted. Our albums are custom designed as a finished piece of heirloom artwork.

9. When will I receive my album?
Album orders are ready for pick-up/shipping 6-8 weeks after your image selections have been received at the studio.

10. What is Trash the Dress (TTD)?
Trash the Dress sessions are held after your wedding using either your wedding dress or sometimes a less beloved stand-in. We go out to a location and make some beautiful imagery without the worry of keeping the dress pristine. For some this means simply shooting in the city and for other it's a trip to the beach and a walk in the surf at sunset. For others it may be standing in a waterfall or horseback riding. Whatever you choose, it will be gorgeous.

11. How will my guests be able to see my wedding photos?
Your engagement and wedding images will be uploaded to a private online gallery at www.NicoleRaine.com/clients , (lso "Client Login") where you and your guests will be able to view and order your wedding photos.
